PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Judy has been a speech language pathologist for over 35 years. She began her career as an itinerant speech therapist in Georgia working with elementary school children. She received her Masters Degree and then served her Clinical Fellowship Year at the Savannah Speech and Hearing Clinic and at the rehabilitation unit at the Savannah Hospital, where she did adult rehabilitation. After marrying, Judy moved to Alabama and had the opportunity to work with Heather Whitestone, Miss America 1996, when Heather was only 3-5 years old. In addition, she served as the Hearing Impaired Specialist for the southeast region in Alabama. Eventually Judy found her way to Columbia, Missouri and began her private practice Speech Pathology Service, where she provided services to young children with hearing impairments. Judy helped found the Moog School-Columbia in 2001 and has served as its Director since the school was established.
